Gifford House Pies
A visit to Capitol Reef often includes a stop at the historic Gifford House, known for its fresh-baked pies in the Fruita area of the park.
Fun fact: those famous pies are made right here at Broken Spur. While the pies are not available for purchase on-site at the hotel, guests can enjoy them seasonally at the Gifford House inside Capitol Reef National Park.
Availability can vary by season, day, and demand, so we recommend stopping by earlier in the day if pie is on your must-do list.
